Moshun^® Limited Warranty for the United States and Canada

Moshun, Inc. (“Moshun”) warrants to the Purchaser of any device (“Product”, for the residence (“Residential Product”) or commercial building (“Commercial Product”) in which this Product is originally installed (except where prohibited by applicable law), that it is free from defects in materials and/or workmanship for the applicable Warranty Period stated for the Product (the “Warranty Period”). The Warranty Period commences from the date of purchase of the Product.

The Warranty Period for Residential Products is 10 years. The Warranty Period for Commercial Products is 3 years. Moshun reserves the right to modify the Warranty Period at any time.

The proper operation of the Product is dependent on Purchaser compliance with the instructions regarding installation, operation, maintenance, and testing. Installation instructions will be provided to the Purchaser at time of purchase. The Warranty does not cover damage(s) or defect resulting from the failure to strictly comply with those instructions. If, during the Warranty Period, the Product appears to contain a defect covered by this Warranty, call (877) MOSHUN6 toll free. Purchaser will be advised of shipping instructions. Send the device, pre-paid and insured, as directed to Moshun’s service center for Warranty repair. Please include a brief description of the problem and a dated proof-of-purchase receipt with any Product returned for Warranty repair. Products returned to Moshun for Warranty repair, which upon receipt by Moshun are confirmed to be defective and covered by this Warranty, will be repaired or replaced (at Moshun’s sole option) at no cost to Purchaser and returned pre-paid. Defective parts will be repaired or replaced with new or factory-rebuilt parts at Moshun’s sole option. Purchaser is responsible for any costs incurred in removing and/or reinstalling the Product or any component.

MOSHUN HEREY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED FOR THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

For the United States Only: Because Moshun cannot control the quality of Products sold by unauthorized sellers, this limited Warranty applies only to Products that were purchased from Moshun or an authorized reseller. Moshun reserves the right to reject Warranty claims from Purchasers for Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized Internet sites.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER DAMAGE CAUSED BY IMPROPER INSTALLATION, OPERATION OR CARE (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO ABUSE, MISUSE, FAILURE TO PROVIDE REASONABLE AND NECESSARY MAINTENANCE, UNAUTHORIZED REPAIRS OR ANY ALTERATIONS TO THE PRODUCT), LABOR CHARGES FOR REINSTALLING A REPAIRED OR REPLACED PRODUCT, REPLACEMENT OF CONSUMABLE ITEMS (E.G., BATTERIES). THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY PROBLEMS WITH, OR RELATING TO, THE DOOR OR DOOR HARDWARE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DOOR CLOSERS, DOOR ALIGNMENT OR HINGES. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ALSO DOES NOT COVER ANY PROBLEMS CAUSED BY ACCIDENT, ABUSE, MISUSE, NEGLECT, FIRE, ALTERATION, ANY ACTS OF GOD, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, FIRE, FLOOD, TORNADO, EARTHQUAKE, HURRICANE, EXCESSIVE SNOW, LIGHTNING, RIOT, INSURRECTION, ACT OF WAR OR OTHER DISASTER. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL MOSHUN BE LIABLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH USE, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS PRODUCT. IN NO EVENT SHALL MOSHUN’S LIABILITY FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE OR STRICT LIABILITY EXCEED THE COST OF THE PRODUCT COVERED HEREBY. NO PERSON IS AUTHORIZED TO ASSUME FOR MOSHUN ANY OTHER LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OF THIS PRODUCT.

The disclaimers, exclusions, and limitations of liability under this Warranty will not apply to the extent prohibited by applicable law.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE AND PROVINCE TO PROVINCE.

Moshun^® Returns Policy

All return and warranty replacement requests should be placed by calling our Technical Support Center at 1-877-MOSHUN6.

Customers can return an unused product, at their own cost, within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Proof of purchase required.  

Moshun will replace defective, in-warranty items, including shipping, at no charge. Refer to our website for warranty terms.
